Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 avocado sliced or mashed
  • Optional: sour cream or crema hot sauce, cilantro, lime wedges

Instructions
 

  • Mix shrimp with oil and blackened spices. Toss to coat.
  • Sear shrimp 2–3 min per side. Set aside.
  • Toss cabbage with lime juice and salt.
  • Warm tortillas in skillet.
  • Assemble tacos with slaw, shrimp, avocado, crema, and toppings.

Notes

  • Adjust the cayenne pepper to your heat preference—½ teaspoon gives medium heat.
  • You can substitute the cabbage with a bagged coleslaw mix for a quicker prep.
  • These tacos are also great with grilled shrimp if you prefer a smokier flavor.
