- 1 lb raw shrimp peeled and deveined
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 avocado sliced or mashed
- Optional: sour cream or crema hot sauce, cilantro, lime wedges
Mix shrimp with oil and blackened spices. Toss to coat.
Sear shrimp 2–3 min per side. Set aside.
Toss cabbage with lime juice and salt.
Warm tortillas in skillet.
Assemble tacos with slaw, shrimp, avocado, crema, and toppings.
