Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 10 oz package butterscotch baking chips
  • 2 cups roughly chopped pecan pieces
  • cup English toffee bits plain or chocolate covered

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter, both sugars, and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  • Gradually mix in dry ingredients, scraping sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Fold in butterscotch chips, pecans, and toffee bits.
  • Cover and chill dough for 30–60 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra depth, toast the pecans before folding them in.
  • Dough can be frozen in balls—just add 1–2 extra minutes to the bake time.
