- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup pitted green or Kalamata olives chopped
- 1 cup cooked bacon crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary optional
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add water and oil, stir into dough.
Knead 8–10 mins until smooth. Place in greased bowl, cover, rise 1 hour.
Punch down and knead in olives, bacon, cheese, rosemary.
Shape and place in greased loaf pan. Rise 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush top with egg.
Bake 25–30 minutes until golden. Cool and slice.
