Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 cups half and half
  • cup heavy cream
  • cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (206°C).
  • Cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 6 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Whisk in the flour and cook for about 30 seconds to form a roux.
  • Stir in the salt, pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder.
  • Slowly whisk in the half and half in three additions, then pour in the heavy cream.
