These hearty breakfast pizzas are layered with fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, creamy homemade sawmill gravy, and melted cheddar cheese—all on toasted English muffins. A deliciously satisfying start to any day!

- 1 package of English muffins
- 8 eggs
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 8 oz mild cheddar cheese thinly sliced
For the sawmill gravy:
- 2 cups milk
- ¼ cup sausage drippings add butter if needed
- ¼ cup flour
- ½ tsp salt to taste
- ¼ tsp pepper to taste
Cook sausage in a cast iron pan until done.
Remove and reserve ¼ cup of drippings.
Add flour to drippings, stir over medium heat for 5–10 mins until golden.
Slowly add milk while stirring constantly.
Cook until thickened. Season to taste.
Toast English muffins. Scramble eggs in a skillet, adding a splash of milk if desired.
