- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- ⅔ cup granulated sugar
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line muffin tin.
Whisk dry ingredients in one bowl.
In another bowl, mix sugar, butter, egg, buttermilk, and vanilla.
Stir in dry mix until just combined. Don’t overmix.
Divide batter into muffin cups. Bake 20–22 mins.
