Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds of chuck roast trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup Coke not diet
  • 2 cans 10.5 oz beef consommé
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 beef bouillon cube Knorr’s recommended
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 package Knorr’s Classic Brown Gravy mix dry

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on low for 4 hours.
  • Shred the beef, discarding fat and bones.
  • Return beef to the slow cooker and cook on low for 2 more hours.
  • Serve on sourdough rolls with cheese.
  • Warm until cheese melts.
  • Serve with dipping sauce if desired.
