- 3 pounds of chuck roast trimmed

- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup Coke not diet
- 2 cans 10.5 oz beef consommé
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 beef bouillon cube Knorr’s recommended
- 1 teaspoon garlic pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 package Knorr’s Classic Brown Gravy mix dry
Add all ingredients to a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Cook on low for 4 hours.
Shred the beef, discarding fat and bones.
Return beef to the slow cooker and cook on low for 2 more hours.
Serve on sourdough rolls with cheese.
Warm until cheese melts.
