Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds carrots peeled and cut evenly
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Toss carrots with melted butter, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Roast for 60–70 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Garnish with herbs if desired and serve warm.
