Refreshing Iced Passion Fruit Black Tea

This simple drink combines brewed black tea with vibrant passion fruit pulp and a touch of sugar for natural sweetness. Poured over ice and optionally garnished with mint, it’s a refreshing way to stay cool all summer long.

- 3 cups water divided
- 3 black tea bags
- 3 tablespoons vegan granulated sugar adjust to taste
- 1 cup passion fruit pulp from about 4–5 ripe fruits
- Ice for serving
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
Bring 1½ cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags.
Let steep for 3–4 minutes, then discard the tea bags.
While the tea is still hot, add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
Pour in the remaining 1½ cups of cool or room-temperature water to help cool the tea.
Stir in the passion fruit pulp. If you prefer a smoother tea, strain to remove seeds.
Fill glasses with ice, then pour the tea over.
