Ingredients
  

  • 1 box 15.25 oz strawberry cake mix
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • Additional lime zest for topping optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • Beat softened butter until fluffy.
  • Add cake mix, egg, lime juice, and zest; beat until combined.
  • Press two-thirds of batter into pan bottom.
  • Sprinkle white chocolate chips evenly on top.

Notes

• A 9x9 pan yields thicker bars; use an 8x8 for even more height or a 9x13 for thinner bars.
