Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz dark or light rum
  • 1 oz coconut rum like Malibu
  • ½ oz grenadine
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 ripe banana frozen preferred
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional garnishes: pineapple wedge maraschino cherry, banana slice

Instructions
 

  • Peel and freeze banana several hours ahead. Gather all ingredients.
  • In a blender, combine rum, coconut rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, frozen banana, and ice.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness, thickness, or booziness as desired.
  • Pour into tall or hurricane glass.
  • Garnish with pineapple wedge, cherry, or banana slice. Serve immediately.
