Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Simmer blueberries, honey, and 1 cup water in a saucepan until berries burst.
  • Strain mixture through a mesh sieve, pressing berries to extract juice.
  • Brew green tea with remaining 3 cups water, steep for 5 minutes, and cool slightly.
  • Mix blueberry juice, tea, and lemon juice in a pitcher. Chill for 1 hour.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with mint.

Notes

  • Frozen blueberries can be used in place of fresh—no need to thaw first.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of honey or use maple syrup or agave for a vegan version.
