- 6¼ cups crispy rice cereal
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 7 tbsp salted butter
- ⅔ cup dry cake mix Funfetti, yellow, or white
- 3 oz bottle rainbow sprinkles
- 2 tbsp marshmallow creme optional, for extra gooeyness
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter completely.
Add marshmallows and optional marshmallow creme, stirring constantly until smooth and fully melted.
Remove from heat and gently mix in the dry cake mix until no streaks remain.
In a large bowl, combine the crispy rice cereal with the warm marshmallow mixture.
Add most of the sprinkles, reserving a little for topping. Stir until evenly coated.
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and transfer the mixture into it.
