For the Roll-Ups:
- 10 slices white sandwich bread
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
For the French Toast Coating:
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
For Cooking:
- 2 –3 tablespoons butter for frying
Remove the crusts from each bread slice and flatten using a rolling pin.
In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Spread the mixture onto each flattened bread slice, leaving a small border around the edges.
Roll up each slice tightly and press to seal the edge.
In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.
