Ingredients
  

For the Roll-Ups:

  • 10 slices white sandwich bread
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

For the French Toast Coating:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

For Cooking:

  • 2 –3 tablespoons butter for frying

Instructions
 

  • Remove the crusts from each bread slice and flatten using a rolling pin.
  • In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Spread the mixture onto each flattened bread slice, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Roll up each slice tightly and press to seal the edge.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter.

Notes

  • For crispier roll-ups, use day-old bread.
