Ingredients
  

  • 2 frozen waffles do not thaw
  • 1½ to 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1½ to 2 tablespoons jam or fruit spread
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter for spreading

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over low to medium heat.
  • Spread butter on the outer sides of both frozen waffles.
  • Spread cream cheese on the inner side of one waffle and place it butter-side down into the hot pan.
  • Spread jam on the inner side of the other waffle, then place it on top of the cream cheese side, buttered-side up.
  • Cook for 4 minutes, pressing gently with a spatula until the bottom is golden.
