- 1 lb steak thinly sliced (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)
- 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta
Sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup diced tomatoes canned or fresh
Flavor & Seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Finish
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley optional, for garnish
Heat olive oil in a large pot.
Sear steak slices with salt and pepper for 3–4 mins. Remove.
Sauté onion and garlic in the same pot until softened.
Add broth, cream, tomatoes, pasta, seasoning.
Simmer 10–12 mins, stirring.
