Ingredients
  

Main

  • 1 lb steak thinly sliced (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)
  • 12 oz penne or rigatoni pasta

Sauce

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes canned or fresh

Flavor & Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Finish

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot.
  • Sear steak slices with salt and pepper for 3–4 mins. Remove.
  • Sauté onion and garlic in the same pot until softened.
  • Add broth, cream, tomatoes, pasta, seasoning.

Notes

  • Thinly slicing the steak against the grain keeps it tender.
  • Rigatoni or penne holds the creamy sauce best, but feel free to use your favorite pasta shape.
  • To make it spicier, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing garlic.
