- 1 lb steak sirloin or ribeye, cut into cubes
- 1.5 lb baby potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil divided
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 –4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella or cheddar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Boil potatoes until fork tender. Drain and let cool.
Smash potatoes on baking sheet, drizzle with oil, season, and bake at 425°F for 20–25 mins.
Sprinkle cheese on potatoes and broil until melted.
Sear seasoned steak in a hot skillet until browned. Remove.
Add butter and garlic to skillet, cook until fragrant.
Return steak and toss.
