- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 12 asparagus spears trimmed
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese or 1 cup shredded
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Toothpicks for securing
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice a pocket into each chicken breast.
Stuff with asparagus and mozzarella. Secure with toothpicks.
Mix spices and rub all over the chicken.
Sear in olive oil, 3–4 minutes per side. Transfer to oven.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, until internal temp reaches 165°F.
Remove toothpicks and serve hot.
