Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 asparagus spears trimmed
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese or 1 cup shredded
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Toothpicks for securing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice a pocket into each chicken breast.
  • Stuff with asparagus and mozzarella. Secure with toothpicks.
  • Mix spices and rub all over the chicken.
  • Sear in olive oil, 3–4 minutes per side. Transfer to oven.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, until internal temp reaches 165°F.
  • Remove toothpicks and serve hot.
