- 1 pie crust
- 250 g cottage cheese
- 50 g parmigiano grated
- 1 egg
- 40 g pearl onions about 3–4 small onions
- ⅓ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Freshly cracked black pepper
Press the pie crust into a tart pan and prick the bottom and sides with a fork.
Pre-bake the crust at 200°C (390°F) for 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, lightly beat the egg.
Add cottage cheese, parmigiano, and salt. Stir to combine.
Peel and thinly slice pearl onions lengthwise. Brush the tops with olive oil.
Remove crust from oven, spread the cheese mixture over the base.
Arrange the onions on top, oiled side up. Sprinkle with black pepper.
