Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust
  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 50 g parmigiano grated
  • 1 egg
  • 40 g pearl onions about 3–4 small onions
  • teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Press the pie crust into a tart pan and prick the bottom and sides with a fork.
  • Pre-bake the crust at 200°C (390°F) for 10 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, lightly beat the egg.
  • Add cottage cheese, parmigiano, and salt. Stir to combine.
  • Peel and thinly slice pearl onions lengthwise. Brush the tops with olive oil.
  • Remove crust from oven, spread the cheese mixture over the base.
  • Arrange the onions on top, oiled side up. Sprinkle with black pepper.
