- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup dark cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2¼ cups semisweet chocolate chips
Grease an 8″x4″ loaf pan with cooking spray.
Line with parchment paper, folding to fit snugly.
Spray the parchment as well.
In a large bowl, whisk together whole milk, sugar, heavy cream, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt until completely smooth.
Strain the mixture into a medium saucepan.
Place over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until it comes to a simmer.
Simmer for 2 minutes while stirring.
