- 2 cups milk of choice unsweetened vanilla almond milk recommended
- 5 tbsp organic cacao powder
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 green cardamom pod freshly ground (or ¼ tsp ground cardamom)
- Optional: ground cardamom or cinnamon for garnish
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, cacao, maple syrup, tahini, vanilla, and cardamom.
Whisk continuously until smooth, bubbly, and frothy.
Pour into mugs and garnish with extra cardamom or cinnamon if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
